I am getting a set of the large flange Miche Pista Hubs does anyone know the specs for these? I am looking at building a set of wheels (first time) so need measurements to figure out spoke length.

The flange diameter is 59mm for both front and rear.

The front center-to-flange is 32mm.

The rear left side center-to-flange is 45mm, the right is 30mm.

You can find some of these dimensions on the DT Swiss website, Spoke Calculator: http://www.dtswiss.com/index.asp?fuseaction=category.bikes

Thank you! :) It did not specify large or small flange and only listed the rear. Appreciate the help now let's see how badly I can build a wheel :) hahaha

DT Swiss has done a great job with the Spoke Calc., but as you've mentioned, they haven't quite listed "every" hub and rim, which would be asking a lot of them. I still do my own measuring and compare with what they have.

I just finished building a set of wheels with Miche hubs/Mavic Open Pro rims/DT Revolution spokes.

What rims are you using? Good luck with the wheel building, let us know how it turns out.

I really like Velocity Rims, so looking at the Aerohead or the Fusion most likely. THe Fusion is a bit more aero which I like but heavier.. so is a trade off.

One more question the Diameter of the hubs do you know that off-hand? Dt-swiss states 59 but just wanted to confirm that is correct :)

Well, actually, I measured mine at 60mm. Then I saw that DT uses 59mm, figured I was off a bit. Who am I to argue with the Swiss? :)

I have just purchased a set of these from businesscycles.com and I am currently waiting for the ups guy to drop them off. I would like to get the spokes all taken care of before that though. Would any of you have measurements for the front hub?

panasoanic - If you're getting the large flange hubs, the distance from center to the flange is 32mm, the flange diameter is 59mm.

what rims are you using?

I'm using Mavic Open Pros for the front and rear. I'm using Spocalc, the Excel based spoke length calculator, and it only has a listing for the rear hub and not the front. Anyway, thank you for your help, Bigwheel.

For the rear wheel, I used 292mm and 294mm with Open Pro's.

...the front...I can't remember, but it was either 292 or 294. DT Swiss calc says to use 293.

let us know how it goes...
