Hi All.

Early registration for the Sept 29th Moonlight Magic Century closes a week from Saturday; so anyone interested should get their entries in!

The route is Lone Pine to the border of Death Valley and back, by the light of the full moon. 100 miles with only 2850' of climbing. Centuries don't come much flatter! A GREAT first-time event for distance newbies.

The ride starts between 3:00pm and 4:00pm, which gives riders a chance to enjoy the scenery in the light of day before the sun sets at 6:40pm. Front and rear lights, and reflective anklebands required.

What will the temps be during the ride times?

Good question...
but impossible to know. The weather in the desert is difficult to predict. But it'll likely be in the 80s to 90s at the start, and dip into the 70s at night. That's what we hope for anyway!

I would love to do this ride, but it will have to be next year as I'm already signed up for Lighthouse. But I hear it's great.
