so for the last month or so, when i've gone on a run after about 30 minutes my groin starts to hurt. it starts as an ache and then gets a bit more acute. for a couple of days afterwards it hurts when i walk too much, right along the crease between my leg and abdomen. there's no bluge or bump that would indicate a hernia, but i haven't done anything in particular to pull my groin. thoughts?

i'm probably gonna go ahead and schedule an appointment to get checked out, but i just thought i'd try to get some feedback. running is the most strenuous excercise i do so i don't know if that's heavy enough to cause a hernia. i'm 28, 5'10", 150 in pretty good shape.

Go to the doctor. You could have pulled a muscle in your groin which the doc will probably recommend to take a couple weeks off.

I second that. Go to the doctor ASAP. I had a hernia last year. No fun. If it's just a pulled muscle, you can at least stop stressing, if it's a hernia, get it taken care of.
