Still looking for the perfect saddle.

Here is my usual issue, pressure and friction on the inner thighs, sometimes to the point my hamstrings burn. If I stand up in the saddle, the burn goes away.

Also, after my longer rides (>40 miles) my inner butt is so sore I can hardly sit in the saddle.

Anyone try the Performance E3 FORM™ SADDLE. Which model (Form gel or Titanium) and
how do you like it?

I installed one yesterday and took my first ride on it today. It was only 11 miles and I didn't properly account for it being a bit shorter than the old saddle, so it was a little too low. I didn't notice any unusual rubbing, but it's too early for me to decide whether I like it or not. If you do some searches you'll find a few other reports from people who have them.

I have been satisfied with an E3 Ti saddle that I ride upto 70mi or so.
Not perfect but ok, much better than a few I have tried, but not
quite as good as the Terry Liberators I prefer. Its form factor
requires some adjusting to as Piper notes. Trying new sadddles is a
chancy and potentially expensive affair as you really need to do
some serious mileage, enough to take the cosmetic bloom off many
saddles and hence more difficult to return/exchange. The Terries,
for me have a 5-7 kmi life span then get too saggy and have to
be replaced. E3 are likely to last longer but not as long as Brooks.

I've put about 150 miles on mine now. My longest ride was 37.5 miles, yesterday. It was on flat terrain and I was not a happy camper. I could not find a position that made my butt happy. I may play with it a bit more, but I'm also researching other saddles.

Well 2 months late, but I switched to the E3 and love it. It takes some adjustment but once you find a comfy position I had no issues even on a 370 mile 24hr. ride. For me I had to tip the nose down slightly to make sure that the contact was mainly on the sit bones. Once I did that it has been the most comfortable saddle I have ever used.

I have an e3 gel with about a thousand miles on it (with a max of 100k on it at a time). I have no complaints. It's the only "modern" road saddle I've owned, so I don't have much to compare it to.

It's quite affordable (i think i paid $30 for mine), so I see no reason not to give it a shot.
