What is a good front and rear pressure for 2.1 Panaracer Fire XC Pro tires? The bike is a hardtail with a Judy SL fork and I'll be XC riding on mostly hardpack flats and steeps, some single track flats and steeps, too. I weigh 190# if that helps. Thanks.

Tubes, basic clincher style, aramid/folding bead.

Well.. this isn't going to help you much, because I run tubeless tires, and only weigh 140 pounds... but I run mine at about 32 psi on the trails, and higher on the street. I'd assume somewhere around 38-40 would be good for you. You want a little bit of bulge on the side of the tire, but you also don't wanna be pinch flatting.

i have had mine for only a week and only been on 2 rides with them. so i might not be of to much help myself, but i run mine at about 35-40. i weight 135 so yours might be a little higher if you weigh more.

I'm 210 lb. I run 60 on the street and 45 on hardpack. I go as low as 40 on gravel or loose stuff.

difficult to recommend a pressure for you when I don't know how you ride.
Best method is trail and error I'm afraid, But Jim's numbers sound like a good place to start.
