Has anyone seen the video series "The Up Series"? It starts out with a group of 7 year olds in 1964. Then it returns to revisit them every 7 years. One fellow, Neil Hughes, is shown on his bike at age 14. At age 42 the narrator notes that Neil is driving a car, and finds that strange for him. At age 49 he is back on his bicycle. Nice to see a basically car-free life being documented as a valid part of a range of life experiences.
