Hi,

I just purchased a masterlock street cuff lock and it has this warranty form which I need to fill out for the insurance. Two of the things it needs is "Bike Registration Information" and "Insurance Information". What kind of registration and insurance information are they asking for? Home insurance? And for registration, I never knew you had/could register bicycles.

Masterlock does NOT make locks. They make metal advertising signs that say "FREE BIKE HERE". Put your bike on your homeowner's insurance or renter's insurance. If you use a Masterlock in a major city, with significant crime, you will be shopping for a new bike soon.

The number of Masterlocks to get a "gold" rating from soldsecure.com? Zero. The number that get a top rating in "Cycling Plus" tests? Zero. Buyer beware.
