Cyclocross - Cyclocross crashes

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Even with all the wrecks in that clip there were some great displays of bike handling as well! As the pile of riders grew that corner became even tighter and more difficult to manuever. I rode over the winter on a course like that and went down on 2 of the 8 laps. It was not fun. Well . . . I guess it kind of was :) This is one of the reasons why cross is awesome!

I was standing next to the camera guy when that happened.
What you don't see is how hard it is raining/sleeting ( it started during the women's race)...and how big of a downhill is before that corner ( can you say pucker).
That shows how good those World Cup guys are
best argument ever for disk brakes in cyclocross
but that would also mean that noobs who cannot control canti's end up clogging the front
more often. crashing like that acts as a bozo filter
I'd be smashed into the barrier there as well...would try to run it
