Hey all,
I'm about to get this made but need 8 more jerseys to make the 10 minimum of like items. Once we have that, we can order a pair bib tights here, a fleece jacket there. No minimums once we have the 10 like items. Anything on the Champion Systems catalog I can mock up for you.
Accessories like caps and gloves however have a minimum of 10 each. So I need 9 more caps to get that order to go through. If you can get 10 people to get in on whatever accessory, I'll mock it up for you.
Further details like sizing, prices, and turnaround are available at unattachedrider.com (http://www.unattachedrider.com).
Come on, I really want to see this kit for real.

Black and white, I want it to scream "NEUTRAL" if such at thing is possible.
The only thing I'm—uhm—in the grey about is the grey panel in the back of the shorts. I also have a grey panel in the rear of the jersey for continuation. I'm mostly concerned about having it all black in the back and getting too hot. I considered adding a color like orange but that strays from the generic kit idea. What's more neutral than black and white text set in Helvetica?
Their turnaround is six weeks from the time we finalize the order.

My friend has a rule about custom jerseys: take the turnaround time and double it. If you've placed an order with the company before then triple it.
And he's had work done by champion systems (as well as others).

Everyone knows that the true neutral is beige ;). Or my favorite color, standard apartment wall off-white.

Thanks. I'm aware that Champion misses deadlines, and I pointed out that I'm not optismistic about the turnaround in the order details page of the link (http://www.unattachedrider.com) I posted earlier. Unfortunately, that is the norm for the industry.
To be clear, as suggested in this page (http://www.unattachedrider.com), this order is intended for Spring '08. Although Champion claims they can have it six weeks after the date I place the order (9/23) as their busy season starts during the holidays.

I hate it.
I still like the two more subtle ones. I like having folks do double-takes. :)
"Sneak Peek" perhaps? Or am I missing something?
V8 - that's all you have to know.

How about putting, ``Your freakin' $5 unattached fee can lick my berry sack'' somewhere on the jerseys? Gar.

me gusta. will put my order in closer to 9/23. for some reason it seems bf has a low success rate of group orders.

I am on a team but if I wasn't I'd totally get one of those kits. Nice work.

Not really, the SoCal forum has like two jerseys I think. And BF had a jersey too (yellow/blue one).

Aight. For everyone asking for pics of the back, the image is updated here (http://www.unattachedrider.com). Prices, sizes, and turnaround info are also listed there.
I changed the grey panel in the bib shorts to white. I think it looks better that way, and does the job of reducing solar beatdown. This design is final, as I'm sending it in and along with my deposit today. Well, it's really not final final, but I don't want to make alterations on their side as that will slow this down.

Having owned ChampSys stuff, I'll tell you their sizes run small. So when in doubt, get a size bigger.

incorrect.
their sizes run true, unlike Pearl Izumi (amongst other US owned companies).

Hi all, I updated the ordering page. You can use the Paypal shopping cart directly from the site. Makes it easier to keep track of everyone and ship the kits when they come in.

I like the shorts a lot. Good job on the design. I'm not sure about breaking up the word on the jersey.
Be sure the written description of colors in the Champion proof is correct. Somehow the kit we just ordered from them wound up "royal" when the picture was clearly navy. The guy in charge of the orders thought the image would trump the written description. Wrong.

Yeah, I noticed that our summer kit looks too much like the drawing and not enough like the actual desired colors. Oh well, I still rock it :)

Only a few days left!
I'd like a complete kit, but I don't have a Paypal account (and don't plan on opening one). Can I send in a USPS money order?

There's an option to pay with credit card on checkout. You would still be paying Paypal, but won't have to set up an account. If that won't work pm me. You know I won't be placing another order until November when the first batch comes in, right?
Thanks to those who participated in the first batch. This will be fun.
got the set minus the hat, will be great to start racing with this, haha.

Hi all,
It's that time again. Due to requests I've opened up orders once more. I think I'm going to do two major batches a year; one in November (for spring) before the big uniform rush and one in July (for fall) after the rush. This way we can avoid 2-3 month delays, which I've heard happens.
Smaller alternate jersey orders I'll do whenever depending on demand.
Shorts/Bibs prices went up 5 bucks and I adjusted the price accordingly, though too late because there were several people got their orders in before I notice the price change.
Here's a pic of the current line up. I regret not getting the Wind Jacket; I didn't realize I'd want to wear this kit ALL THE TIME.

arm warmers must go well into the sleeves of the jersey.

I want.
My only concern is the sizing... 6'1 170, 40 chest, 32 waist. I'm thinking Medium/Medium?
