I posted about a month ago or so that I was planning on doing this and I did it! The ride took 5 days 4 hours with one day that was mostly on a ferry. The approximately 1000kms from there (Portland Maine) took 73 hours. I didn't push myself too hard until I was almost there. Riding through Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and the Adirondacks was my best cycling experience to date and will probably remain that way for some time.
