after almost two years of serious cycling, my first fall.
long story short, a patch of sand under a bridge on one of our bike paths was deeper than it looked, so I tried unsuccessfully to go through it, and down I went... right into the soft sand. best possible place to take a spill, seriously. other than a scrape on my leg, I'm fine, and the bike's fine too other than the crappy toeclip on my left pedal coming off.
