There is a dent in the seat stay on my dragon pro, and this one, does anybody know why they put this dent here? Either it is an odd coincidence that my bike and this bike frame have the same dent in the same exact spot, or it is the factory's error? It is reynolds 853 tubing. Any help is appreciated.

It is not a coincidence nor a dent. Dragon and Dakota XC all have the same tube squash there, probably to allow sufficient space for the cassette and use that stay tube diameter.

thanks man, but the cassette clears freely of an inch.

I was just making sure nothing was out of the ordinary.
