Im away to spain for 16 days holiday and im going to be taking my bike along to keep my training going along and was looking for some tips etc regarding warm weather training.

As coming from country(uk) when it becomes 23C sees people running to the parks to sunbathe, im not used to training in hot climates.Ive got some hilly races when i get back home which i hope to try and get some training in the hills on holiday and get in some general high end training which I am doing back home.Im just want to be cautious so that I dont get dehydrated and get the most from the 2 weeks or so I am there.

plenty of isotonic drinks?out early or late in the day? any tips would be great cheers

One tip,
get up at 4:30 am, have a bite (powerbar or something) and then ride for a couple of hours.

lol 23 degrees??? sheesh that's CHILLY for us this time of year ;)

just drink alot. don't dring when you want or need to, cuz by then it's too late. drink like it's your job.

mornings are better than evenings to ride.... it takes a while for the air to cool down, even when the sun has disappeared

During feb/march there are a lot from the uk that head over to majorca/spain/italy etc for training camps.....so funny.

The weather is nice for us, so we are in our shorts and short sleeved tops and you see the spaniars/italians etc ....long sleeved, tights, hats..etc....
