I was thinking about buying a couple of jerseys from probikekit.com b/c of the great prices. Has anyone had any experiences w/ this company? Are the jeresys authentic even though the prices are so low? Any and all info would be great. Thanks in advance to everyone!!!

I have ordered from probikekit ... the prices are cheap because they specialize in older products, but they are all authentic. The service is good and the products are great. Shipping is a little unfortunate. Because they are based overseas, they ship a large number of products to their distribution offices in the US, then they ship out to the individual customers. This cuts down the shipping costs big time, but slows down the shipping process and so products take longer to get to you. They do have good e-mail updates and customer service if you have questions about your order though.

I ordered a (non-team) jacket from them last year and it came in the wrong color (blue/yellow instead of black/blue). I still liked it, so I decided to keep it and not complain about it. I've heard of other people here on the BB with similar experiences but they got theirs replaced with no problems.
With their new shipping costs ($8 instead of $25 last year, when orders were coming from overseas), I would place another order with them.

I have placed several orders with them and never gotten something in the wrong color or size.

Two orders no problems.

Good company to deal with. I've talked at length with the gal who runs the US side of the shipping and she knows her stuff.

Just make sure you know your size and don't necessarily use the sizing chart on the site. I've found it to be completely wrong.

I can not get to their web site for some reason. Can you give me a link to it?

I have ordered from them twice and I NEVER WILL AGAIN. Their merchandise is substandard and their customer service is terrible. My first order was for a pair of what were supposed to be Giordana tights. They sent me Prorace tights. They fit me well, so I kept them. I inquired if both the Giordana and the Prorace are the same price (i.e. did they owe me any money) and it took the Idaho office two weeks to get the answer. Needless to say, they said that both tights were the same price and that they owed me nothing. Also I don't like their system of listing prices in US dollars but actually charging in British pounds. You get stuck with exchange rates and fees for the exchange.

At the end of May they had great prices on Prorace bibs with free shipping. I ordered two pairs. One pair had a good pad and the other had a pad that was a joke. It was so small that it was not even wide enough to pad the sitbones and in the front it was so small it could cause embarassment, if you know what I mean. BTW, the substandard pair came without tags or even the maker logo. When I called them, I asked if they could send me a pair with a good pad, when I sent the substandard ones back. The office person in Idaho said that she couldn't really check on that and that I should send the ones I didn't like and they would send a refund. I was pretty disgusted with their lack of interest in working with the customer. AND, AFTER TWO MONTHS I STILL DON'T HAVE MY REFUND! No money and no answer to my inquiry.

I do not think that they are an honest company. They give an impression that they are a little disorganized. But too much goes wrong in favor of them! They are the kind of company that gives internet shopping a bad name.

Caveat emptor.

I've had really good experiences with probikekit and have ordered from them several times - everything has been as described and of good quality. They let me know when one jersey was out of stock, whilst still honouring the fee shipping from the total order cost. Good shipping - and always an excellent service im my experience.

This sounds more like an experience with Nashbar or Performance.

I've ordered from them at least 3 times, I don't know it they specialize in older things, I always get my european team gear from them, so that dosen't really sit corectly with me, but maybe they do...I've never had a problem with getting what I order, it's always at least for me been correct..I like them......Oh by the way, they have closed the USA distribution office, I think it's going to happen soon, so then things will come directly from the UK, hopfully that'll help in the shipping process..

I've ordered from them and been quite satisfied with them.
I think some of the problems that Stinger9oh is having may
be due to the U.S. branch just opening. of course that is
just my opinion.
I ordered a CSC jersey 2 years ago and they were the only
supplier who carried them. There was a delay in getting stuff
(due to worldcom dropping sponsorship) and they kept me informed of the backorder. If I recall correctly there were a pair
of Socks included in my order (and I only ordered the jersey). I
just figured it was for waiting so long for my jersey!

I have never ordered from Performance, but Nashbar has always given flawless service.
