Foo - Have three pockets that are empty ... what should I put in them?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Today I'm riding my roadbike, and wearing the club roadie jersey - but alas, I have nothing to put in my pockets.

Now what good things can I put in my pockets? :D

If you have time, read this before your ride, it should give you some options and ideas:

Ya know, I accept this challenge.

I'm off riding now, and have 3-4 stops to make - including one to pick up BALL.

I shall take a picture of my evening frolics ... - and hopefully I won't tip over backward due to the amount of stuff I can fit in there - and yes there shall be a beer in there somewhere!

That is true. Didn't they used to carry wine in leather casks? That might work. :)

Didn't they used to carry wine in leather casks? Are you listening, Brooks? We need bike-mountable leather wine casks, stat!

In the meantime, I guess we'll have to stick to bungee-cording a box of this stuff to a rack:

Hehe! That actually works quite nicely for a river rafting trip. We had a couple of those boxes to go in a couple of the rafts that we used. It wasn't too long before all we had were the plastic bags, which were great for throwing across from raft to raft. :)

I wonder though...how long can a wine bag hot potato game last if everyone who catches it has to swig the wine before throwing it?

Those wine bladders are surprisingly resiliant. Bring em on river/creek trips fairly often. Easier than stinking up one of my nalgenes with whiskey. Homebrew is the remedy for curing what ails ya tho. It's a definant cureall for all activity related intoxication. Plus it makes you look 10x sexier, 3x stronger, and infinitely more witty.
