Just wondering what you guys race, NBL or ABA? I race with ABA basically because the tracks are closer to me. And what do you ride? I currently ride a 2007 GT Powerseries Pro.

NBL - 34 cruiser. DK Fury 24.
yeah, same reason for my choice - I don't even know where the nearest ABA track is.

My nearest NBL is like an hour and a half away. ABA tracks at 25 minutes, 1 hour, and 1 hour 10 minutes.

Minnesota seems to be a ABA state, so I'm ABA. Don't even know if there's a NBL track in the whole state. I started racing again this year & have thus far raced a 1994 S&M Widowmaker. But Now have my old 1997 SE Floval Flyer ready to race.

Sick bikes WDS. On your SE Flyer what kind of seat is it. Right now i don't have a bmx racing bike but i'm most likely gonna get one.

I raced ABA the tracks are like 40 minutes and the other is an 1 hour.

The seat on the SE Floval is the Ody Jr seat, Jimmy Levan limited edition.

I race 40-44 Cruiser in Canada on CCA tracks, there are ABA tracks around our area but they are further from our place so we haven't tried them yet. My son will probably race some ABA next year.

WDS - I like that S&M, you must either be way out in the lead or there is less carnage in the cruiser classes at your tracks than the ones I race at. Even though I am usually back of the pack, my Norco Speed Metal cruiser has loads of battle scars as there is usually at least one pile up per week in my class and we often have a full gate so there is never much room to escape.

They both have a scuff or two, but they photgraph REALLY good. Honestly, I don't race that much. Just started getting back into it & had to use the S&M while I was getting parts for the SE. I'll probably race more in the winter - we have a nearby indoor track. Also we don't get a full gate that much & when we have, the pack get spread out pretty quick. Plus, we're a pretty casual bunch of racers here & nobody wants to crash. We're a bunch of old guys (35-45, I'm 37) that all don't want to get hurt.

And I WISH I was in the front all the time.

Yeah, if you like to be anally raped when you sit down.

Why sit down?

You know, I thought it'd suck as well. That's why I put the seat on a bike primarily used for racing.
But taking the bike out for a ride now & then, I've actually found the seat to be pretty comfortable.

I race an Intense 24 Pro cruiser in the NBL 40 - 44 year old class. I first started racing a 20" Webco in 1979. I just started racing again this season after a brief 22 year retirement.
