Northeast - Patterson Park in Baltimore (was that you?)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Saw a guy on a sweet Look 555 with a full "Kelly" kit doing loops. Then some other dude who liked to mash in the big ring.
I go there almost every day (except for the past 2 weeks since I've had a cold!) and never see any roadies, so if either of you are members here, say hello!

I wasn't either of the riders you mention but I live right there. I don't ride the park (run it some days) but may start if it's worthwhile - always looks too crowded to me.
I usually roll there around 6-7pm. Enough people have cleared out to hammer safely around the back end by then. The only annoying thing is they have a stage set up all the time for weekend events, so you have to go off-roading for a few meters.
I used to be the only one, but the every time I go now, I see another rider. Some guy was cranking on a Bianchi Pista Concept just last Thursday! :)
Dog walkers can be a nuisance if they aren't paying attention and let the leash get a little too long, but a "Heads up!!!" fixes that. Other than that, it's a relatively fun route. I still say 20 miles in the park is equal to 40 on the road.

I may have to try it. I'm a little sore from the CWC over the weekend (did the metric) but since I'm only a block from the park it's hard to say no.
I've probably seen you, cmyke. I usually just run in the park because of the danger of pedestrians, but I see the pista guy very regularly as well as some others from my house (near the corner of Baltimore & Milton).
I think the upper loop that passes the pagoda and the western side of the boat lake is a little safer because the grades translate to fewer people walking there.

strange.. i live right on bank, a few blocks west of the park, and i almost never see anyone riding in the neighborhood.. i do a few laps at the park once in a while... usually on a flat black and pink fixed gear, or a bridgestone track bike.
