When people figure out that quiet indoor or out door racing can be done using 50 lb ebikes for racing 10 or 20 minute motos can be lots of fun! as well as a lot safer at track speeds to 30 mph. There would only be 1 rule... Every Ebike would have the same batteries for each class and have a gross weight of less than 50 lbs. for Class 1.This would spur on a market and much better ebikes that would get the REAL TEST! Costs will come down while performance and realiability goes up!
Unless racing is involved the evolvolution of ebikes will remain in the unefficient hub motor low milage RANGE state.
Flat track Ebike races on plastic back tires inside of a gym or old hub motor warehouse? LOL
