I am planning to put an aero chain ring (FSA) on my Ultegra 6600 crankset. They are both 130BCD. The Ultegra chainring I have is 53T and the carbon chainring i am going to buy is 54T. my smaller chain ring is 39 (stock Ultegra). Now my friends my question is will the FSA TT chainring bolt in straight no problemo? Is it compatible? My LBS is clueless. I reckon it is. HELP!!!!
Should be; you'll need to raise the FD though. Your tooth spread will increase to 15t, but the FD will probably handle it fine.
