My gt aggressor has the seat which came w/ it and it feels like a brick. Usually its somewhat ok,but we did a 32 mile ride today and my but is killing me!And yes i have padded shorts. Any suggestions on seat choice?

Redfox, first of all seats are a very personal matter, what works for me, may not necessarily be comfortable for you. Secondly, you will eventually get butt calouses. Just keep riding.
My favorite saddle is a WTB SSX. I've put it on three different bikes and used it until it fell off it's rails. I'm currently using the stock CODA seat from my Cannondale, but my butt calouses must be pretty thick because it's not what I would consider a comfy seat. I've never had problems with numbness down there so the new cut out style saddles aren't worth it for me.
I'd suggest going to your LBS and asking them if they have some old saddles you could try for a weekend with the intent on buying if you find one you like. They ususally have a box of take-off saddles from people who want different ones that come with the bikes. They may even let you try out new saddles as long as they come back is resaleable condition.
