i have a question, how do you true carbon wheels? I mean full carbon wheels like the spinergy X's and others like that, as well as the carbon disk wheels. Are they just good until they are out of true, then you need new ones??

Truing is built into the mold and there is no practical way to change this once the wheel is molded. Conversely unless they break or you bend the rim they can't go out of true. Steve

so, if carbon wheels are out of true your SOL?

Modern Spinergies have corrected that (and other) problems by reverting to a tensioned spoke design. They maintain their high-tech cred by using PBO fibre, but they are adjustable and true-able.

I have a mate who has a set of Zipp carbon wheels, he paid $5000AUD for them and they are the lightest, but strongest wheels I have ever ridden. One is a disc and it is unreal.

Here's the info from HED;
Q. Are Deep rim aero wheels difficult to true?
A. Soft structure carbon rims in the HED range all feature full length spokes. Once you remove the tire, they true up just like an ordinary bike wheel. Hard structure rims, like the CX, are different. They have shorter spokes pulling directly against the carbon section. However, these are taken from molds with incredibly close tolerance accuracy, so the intrinsic wheel structure of a HED wheel twice the level where a conventional wheel would need to be trued. HED three spoke wheels are built to even closer tolerances, four times the level where truing would become necessary.
Discs and 3-4-5 spoke composite wheels obviously can't be trued, but as mentioned they are built VERY strong, but yea, you're SOL to a point (although the reputable wheel makers will rebuild/sell you a new wheel for cheap). HED tolerances on the H3 (tri-spoke wheel) are so close that they discount them when they have a run out of .03" or more.
