one of these days they will become as sought after like the Raleigh twenties...... but that day is a LONG time away....
these are the first gen of Dahons. and although some people like theirs and using them for short trips. they are not even close to new ones in performance ....

than again for 20 bucks they might just be the ticket to ge you startet... just keep in mind that Dahons ( and other folders ) have made HUGE improvements over the years

I use mine for commuting each day. Only 2 miles each way. I have a new SA 3 speed hub which makes it feel like a new bike. Still a bit twitchy, and I am wishing I had higher gears, but then I would need better brakes. Works for me, but I know it is limited compared to new. Some nice individual leaned out his window on my way home today and said something like nice little girl's bike. I saluted him, and no, I only used 1 finger in my mind.
