I think JoeJack is telling us that either his bike can do 0-60 in 12 seconds, or that his car can only go above 30MPH when he is going downhill... and that his car is narrow and often overlooked...
One way or the other. I'm not sure.

I was being sarcastic (and arguably as ridiculous as Diane who believes that some people don't recognize the differences between cars and bikes).

Ah. But I think that Diane is pointing out that people in the tractor forum have come to terms with their vehicles only going 11 mph and don't whitewash over this limitation in performance. VC'ers tend to whitewash all discussion concerning performance limitations of bicycles when compared to cars. My favorite is when the discussion starts turning on the assumption that the bicyclist is going slower than cars, and a VC'er comes in to quip "but bikes aren't always slower than cars!" Perhaps, but it is beside the point and is only brought up because, to the VC'er, it is politically incorrect to admit to the performance limitations of bicycles affecting how one rides in traffic.
It is Diane this time who is being up front about things and it is you who are trying to sell us on the concept that Diane is trying to imply that VC'ers are blind. Your eyes aren't blind, but your retoric many times is.
