For sale is the 2007 Giant TCR Advanced 1. Full carbon fiber frame, aggressive race geometry, compact road, size Medium/Large to fit riders from 5'10" to 6'0" (I am 6'1" with longer legs and a shorter reach/torso. With the seatpost set high, this was a great fit for me). Fit on a traditional, non-compact frame would be a 57-59, where I ride a 57.5.

Very stealth, highly appealing aesthetics. I am selling this bicycle, somewhat begrudgingly, as I both need the money (getting married soon) and don't give it the attention it deserves. In the 6 months I have owned this bike, it has maybe seen 500-1000 miles. Sad, indeed. One century, no racing, no intense training, just a few rides in the hills, as it were.

Lovingly maintained by a Barnett's trained, BSE certified mechanic (me), it is in near perfect condition, both cosmetically and functionally. Ever so slight wear on frame headtube from shifter housing. I can send detailed photos on request. All stock except for Thomson seatpost and Selle Italia SLR saddle w/ Ti rails (both of which I would not mind holding onto) Complete specs as follows:

Frame Giant formulaOne Composite, Compact Road Design
Fork Giant formulaOne Composite
Rims/Wheels Mavic Ksyrium Elite
Hubs See Rims/Wheels
Spokes See Rims/Wheels
Tires Michelin Pro2 Race, 700 x 23c

Rear Derailleur Shimano Dura Ace
Rear Cogs Shimano Ultegra, 10-speed: 12-25

Saddle Selle Italia SLR, w/Titanium rails

An amazing bike, especially for the competitive minded.

This bike retails for $3600. Considering the condition, I feel 2800 is fair. However, I am open to offers and negotiations. As previously stated, I would not mind keeping the seatpost and saddle, as well as the wheelset (awesome wheels, right out of the box!). I am also open to trade+ cash for a nice steel frameset, Columbus or Reynolds tubes, along the lines of Masi, De Rosa, Bob Jackson, Merckx, possibly Bridgestone. An early 90's example of any of these would be ideal. Regardless, all reasonable offers will be considered. Also very willing to part out frame, components, etc.

Again, email for photos of the bike, or feel free to come inspect/test ride. I am in Oakland, CA. Shipping the bike is a definite option. Thank you for your interest.
