They are not related. They are put on by two different organizations. The CRCA had to cancel because the Park Police were short on officers for Sunday and would not issue a permit. They had no choice but to cancel.

We have Silvermine solidly happening at this point. We are rounding up volunteer marshalls, but should be fine. PCad, I am expecting an autograph!!!

No autographs on race day. You know that. I'm surprised you'd even ask.
I was just wondering how many marshalls do you need for a 14 mile out and back TT with no turns? I'd say just have a couple of guys with a giant spatula to scrape up the remains of any mope who T-bones a deer.
You should get that sandbagger Marc Albert to race. He shows up with a bunch of other Westwood shills on Nyack on Sundays, goes 30mph @ the front and then turns off before it tilts uphill. I think they're trying to soften up Pcad. Tell them that is hardly necessary.

This is a disappointing letdown on the part of the Palisdades Interstate Park Commission Police. I will bust my neighbor's balls tomorrow (he was a member of that organization until about a year ago, he knows all of them, I'll get to the bottom of this fiasco).

Look at it this way KP, you KNOW you would have wound up with a speeding ticket on Lake Welch Pkwy, so this is saving you a contentious traffic court appearance.
