Funny how you forget how different the long velocipedes are?
First outing for a while with the beloved stoker. We have about 15 years of tandem background - but we've been off the tandem since May. I've been here in Bahrain, she's been with the kids in London - we had a 2 week tour in Denmark on singles in June.
So - a first outing this morning, with an enthusiastic but jetlagged stoker. Feedback - goodness, these things don't accelerate (Me). Goodness, these things don't stop ( Me) Goodness, these things just keep going don't they, blimey we're going easy at 22, shall we shift up, blimey I can't chase the pedals and we're going 28 ( both of us)
And from Mrs Stoker - It's a bit warm here ( 38 C, 85 humidity).; From me - If I wanted meteorology I'd be at home watching tv - pedal harder
