Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Haha would this work? I'd think it wouldn't work as well, since I'm not moving my legs back and forth continuously, although I would shift my weight around somewhat.
You'd need a hard surface chair like wooden stool but the rails would damage the wood.

I would think it'd need to even be more elaborate than a wooden stool, because you have to actually straddle the brooks and let the legs droop down.
Just ride your bike.

I'm guessing you just want to break it in quicker than you could by riding. So, yes you should ride more, or you could attach it to the top of a stool. The kind that look like a drummer's chair/have a single post, hmmm maybe it was a drummer chair. There's a stool like this at my lbs.
Just make one of these. If anything troll CL a 10 dollar frame and take a hacksaw to it if you dont have any other tools.

How about sit on ur bike practicing ur trackstand while watching reruns of Whats Happening?
Just ride. It's much more fun, it is much less ******** and if you set your brooks up right odds are it'll be comfortable from the getgo. The very first thing i did with my pro was take it on a 100 km ride, and i had no problems with it.

Mine is pretty comfy after only like 30 miles or less. It's still hard but seems to be breaking in. I think I need to get a laidback seatpost since I seem to sit on the tail end of the saddle and it's as far back as possible.
