I use a cheapy light on my bike. the problem is that due to the vibration on the road, the connection gets compressed and the light turns itself off after a while. Anythought?

PapeteeBooh,
Seems to me I have seen white ones, but I can't find any now. Nashbar has a yellow version of their 5-LED Proton that is intended for front use.

What about putting a small piece of foam under the contact?

If there is a springy steel plate pressing againt the tip of the bulb, which is becoming loose, take the bulb out and re-set the spring. Bend it to make the contact better.
