Basically, when climbing a hill, the crank will all of a sudden give approximately 180 degrees and just about dump you. Total loss of pedal pressure. Upon further examination, it appears that this is the scenario:
Climbing a hill. The pedal is under a load. The gear remains the same w/ no shifts. While under a load, if the rear tire hits a dip or a bump or takes some kind of even slight impact, the slippage occurs. The teeth on the rings and cassette look good so I don't think it is the actual chain jumping. It is definately rear wheel impact related. Someone PLEASE help me shed some light on this.
