I know bicyclewheels.com sells the silver ones, but i cant find any of the color wheels online... NYCbike has some but they are quite marked up.

If Wheel&Sprocket on Ebay doesn't have them, nobody else will, probably. They're the definitive source for these coveted wheelsets.
It seems like there's a lull in supply right now. The one place I know definitely has them is a shop here locally in Philadelphia -- Bicycle Revolutions. They go for $200 and, if you call them up and explain how nobody else has them, my homeboy Bryan will probably ship them to you. Google for their number.
$200 is more than Ebay's normal $160 but... too bad.

i've had the same issue getting these rims.
retail (at least around here in PA) is only $27 each, and for a while, i could buy as many as i wanted in any color.
now everyone tells me the same.... 'out of stock'
if anyone hears of somewhere that can get them, throw it up here, cause we're searching.

I messaged them on ebay a month or so ago about a pair in yellow and he said he'd be getting them back in stock soon, but after a month I gave up and got a white pair from bellsbikestore or something on ebay

yeah thats the idea i get from them too. they are on the site right now saying out of stock....

i actually ran across an artical online (can't remember where, and haven't been able to find it since) about the stateside Raleigh factory where the dp's were made blowing up. as in...big explosion, and 6 employees killed.
that would make some sense...
but then i could never find it again.

They're on ebay now, 30 bucks more than silver.
