Hope Ride - Anyone else going?

This will be the first time I've done this ride. I've heard great reports about it.

I was planning on it being my first metric century but I discovered it conflicts with my wife's family reunion. I rode in it last year with my family. We had a blast and we were all looking forward to it this year. I will probably do the Possum Trot (http://www.iupuc.edu/possumtrot/) instead.

The route last year was very nice. The only road with any noticeable traffic was 450N (?) that runs by Simmons Winery (one of the rest stops). You're on the road for less than a mile so it's not bad.

The starting point is about 10 miles from my house and the century ride runs within a mile of my house. I liked the route so much that redid my daily ride to use parts of it. It's very flat, not surprising for that part of Indiana.

Which route are you going to do? We did the 25 miler which ended up be ~30. My kids (9 and 11) made it with no trouble, I think the root beer floats at the end of the ride kept them going :)
