Recently we got two flashlights for camping that are magically recharged by turning a handle for about 10 to 30 seconds. Are there such lights for bicycles ?

I would reserve the "crankable" flashlight for limited emergency use only. I tried carrying one when jogging at night. The problem is the light does not stay bright very long. Every few minutes you have to start cranking on the handle again to recharge the light. I would recommend using a Fenix L1D or P2d flashlight for bicycle use.

I carry a crank LED light as an emergency backup. I can bungee it to my front rack as a "be seen light". It's also useful when needing to work on the bike at night such as fixing a flat or rambling around in the pannier for a needed item.
I think what you really want is a dynamo driven lighting system. Check out my Mag-Lite flashlight driven by a cheap bicycle dynamo here.

the next great think will be lights generated by pedal power. But perhaps someone somewhere is already figuring that one out.

ReeLights (http://reelight.com.linux98.123hotel.dk/index_en.php) these pop up in the forums now and then. a search showed mostly commuting none in lighting. a spoke mounted rare earth magnetic 'powers' the light. mixed reviews. installs on axles, no batteries, no friction, not the brightest, but good always on be-seen front and back blinky lights. The SL100 had the same drawback as dynamo lights - they stop when you do. The SL120 has an additional capacitor that runs up to 5 minutes while stopped.
