This is a new century that takes place on roads I ride all the time. Elevations are 6000-7500ft, and the course scenery varies from tall pines and mountains and grassy (and presently wildflower covered) plains. Pretty challenging, but the course is routed so that the steepest and longest parts are downhill rather than up. Weather should be good... dry and sunny with a high of ~70 would be normal.
Ruidoso is ~120 miles north of El Paso, and 150 miles SW of Albuquerque.
Hope to see some of you there... if you have any questions I'll do my best to answer them. I'm not involved with organizing the ride but I'm pretty stoked that it is happening.
