I get jealous reading about that bicycling show in Germany where all the manufacturers brought out the new models. I know that there is a big annual show in California, too. Anything for this area?

The other big show, Interbike, is in Las Vegas. It's not open to the public, though, which is a shame but understandable.
Other than that, there aren't any big cycling trade shows, as it's really expensive for the manufacturers to pack up and ship around the amount of stuff needed for a trade show - and the expense of such things would eventually be passed on to the consumers. There are other shows that have some cycling content (e.g. the Outdoor Retailers Expo), but it's not quite the same level as Interbike or Eurobike.
There are big race events that are like mini-shows, though: the Sea Otter Classic (California) and the USPro Championships (South Carolina) being but two.
