People came to me asking about my "strange" bike.
I had an appointment for a physical at the doctors today so I decided to ride my folder instead of my road bike. What a coincidence, no bike racks anywhere, so it was a good thing I rode my folder. So I folded my bike and carried it in. I had over 8 people talk to me about my bike; receptionist, a couple of patients, nurse, my doctor, and lab techs.
-as I left check-in the three or so receptionists chit-chatted about folding bikes
-one patient said that's a cool bike and is gonna go look for one this weekend
-another lab tech had me jot down folding bike brands so he can research about them on the internet
Looks like I'm advocating bicycling without having to do any work. Random people just come to me asking about it.
