good work.
I hope to get out to that practice next tuesday. I can use all the help I can get.
Good to see the website up and running. Last week was an awesome time. I just penciled this Tuesday into my planner book, so me and the big, bad, blue Cannondale CX should be there.

Great idea to have a cross practice close-in DC. But if it starts at 7, won't you only have 15 minutes of light? Or are you going somewhere lighted?

yeah, it is starting to get dark earlier but 7 was the earliest i could do.
we'll probably head over to meridian hill park which has limited lighting. or if people are up for it, we'll go all the way up to catholic u where the course is better and mostly well lit.

hey- cool site!
DCCX is being put on by DCMTB.com / city bikes. people on our team are often looking for good CX practice sites and people to practice with.
Hope to see a bunch of you at our race. this isn't a money maker for us (proceeds are to be donated to the vets) - we just wanted a race in the city
and say hi! always a good thing to meet fellow CXers....

And if you like the BikeRack website and the team, wait 'till you see the work that this bike shop actually does. I recently had them overhaul my 2005 Cannondale CX, and the work was top-notch. I recieved my bike practically cleaner and newer that when I actually bought it two years ago. Their attention to detail was above par, especially with an innovative approach to derailleur cable routing and little touches like putting clear adhesive tabs betweeen the cable housings and the frame, and stripping dirt-grabbing decals off my rims. My bike is shining like a jewel now, and it's almost too beautiful to race this Sunday at DCCX (but race it and race it hard I will).
Seriouslly, if you want a proffesional overhaul on your race bike here in Washington DC, Bike Rack is the place to go! They were very friendly and extremely knowledgable.
