Hi all,
Kewl group you have here. I am fairly new to the mt. bike world. (haven't ever owned a much better bike than the local walmart, target or k-mart special!) I recently aquired a Fuji Thrill Cro-Moly mt. bike. It needs some work. My first question is what year is it? It has Shimano brakes, shifters etc. It is maroon in color. I know, not much info. but I am a newbie. I don't really know how to describe it much more than that. What is the general concensus on Fuji bikes? Would it be worth "fixing up"? I will be using it primarily for off-road during camping and 4x4/hiking excursions. It will see its share of pavement, however. I know the bike needs a new chain and some new tires.Would it be better to swap parts out myself? Or take it to a shop? How much would an overall tune-up run? Just looking to see how people feel about Fuji bikes. Thanks for any help.
