If anyone is interested I have several extra spoke cards and event pins from the alleycat we had this past Sunday. $1 for the set (card and pin). If you want to buy one email me to make sure I still have some. soulback@yahoo.com

Aren't you just delegitimizing the whole idea of spoke cards?

The guys who paid top dollar and actually put sweat into the race feels a sense of pride in those cards. And now some weenie can by the same cards from you for a buck a day later?

How will we be able to tell the real deal riders from the wannabees? Next thing you know every hipster out there will be simply putting spoke cards in their spokes just for show, or perhaps even making spoke cards of their own? Do you really want THAT to happen? Where would that leave us as a society? How will we tell the "cool" rider taking a well deserved break from hard riding at the local cafe from the poser who is simply hanging out there with a bike prop while sipping a decaf (gasp!) esspresso?

Thank you for contributing to the decline and demise of Western civilization.

Way to go.

Can we stop doing that now and talk about NES? I just beat Megaman 4 last night, and it was good.

Mega Man 2 > Mega Man 4

Sometimes I post facts. This is one of those times.

my favorite was megaman 3. i mean, i really loved all things megaman, but if i had to pick a personal favorite that i devoted the most time to, it was megaman 3.

who here has beaten double dragon? man, once that dude comes out with the machine gun, its all over for me. seventeen years later and i STILL cannot say that i have accomplished that goal.

...same with battletoads.

Battletoads is a whole other level of pain. I remember one time I got to the level where the gears chase you through narrow corridors. I'd never made it so far and my childish hands were sweating and shaking. They slipped off my NES Advantage and I died in 30 seconds. It was my last life.

Yep, I need to pick that one up. So good.

I played mega man somthing or other for some handheld Nintendo thingy. It sucked so hard it made me weep for the future of mankind. How have we fallen so far so fast?
