Hello to everyone. I live in toasty Mesa, AZ (suburb of Phoenix), moved here from a small town outside of Kansas City, MO a little over a year ago. I went car-light when I moved here, and I've been car-free for about three months now. My ride for the past year has been an 80's Fuji Espree, until last week when I scored a practically new Raleigh One Way. I love getting around everywhere by bike; I remember riding for hours and hours at a time when I was younger, and I wonder now why I ever stopped riding for so long. :)
Anyways, glad to be here.

Welcome! Lots and lots of SS/fixie riders here, commuters, and car-free whackos (like me, though I am currently going through a -lite phase). Drop by Foo, too, if you get a chance.

Hello Anthony, it's nice to see a new username for the Living Carfree forum :D .

Does this mean you don't have the Fuji anymore? If you do, let's see some photos in the Classic & Vintage forum. Member T-Mar has started a thread for a Fuji serial number database if you have the serial number...

Welcome to BF!

Hey Anthony. I don't think you are alone. A lot of us rode a lot as kids, and then didn't throw a leg over a top tube for years. When we do discover the fun of cycling again - it's just that much sweeter! :)

Welcome to BikeForums, Anthony!

I still have the Fuji, but it's a bit of a beater. Good to ride but not really pic-worthy.

C & V bikes don't have to be pretty--just have history :) . And it would still be nice to have the data to help other Fuji owners down the line :o .
