Hi everybody.
My name is Artem.

I am 24 years old and have been riding (not just to the corner store for beer) for 3 years. I am here to learn from everyone, hopefully make a few riding friends, and share what knowledge I have gained in the last years.
Cheers all

Ned

P.S. Little later I'll post the URL of my photoalbum.

Hello Artem, are you in Kiev, or some other far flung corner of Ukraine? What kind of bike do you ride, and what kind of riding do you do? Looking forward to photos.

Welcome to BF!

Yes, I'm from Kiev. I ride the cross coutry bike (GF) and I prefer cross country and road kind of riding.

Two weeks ago, I've done the bigest ride in my life (with group). That was 320 km, averege speed 29.2 km/h. Ride time about 10 hours. We started like 17 people, but only 7 people crossed the "finish line".

This is the URL of my small and actually not very well quallity photoalbum:

And this is the URL like photopreview in *.avi format (20 Mb)

Artem, your photos are truly cool! Was this a regular group with whom you ride? I saw a Scott in there--what are the other bikes? How hard (and expensive) is it to get decent bikes in Ukraine?

I think you may have some really helpful advice for the folks in the Winter riding forum :D . I was laughing pretty hard at the photo of the bike being handed over the fence.

You now, it's depend on season. In winter it's one members, In summer time it's another members.
The other bikes are like Garry Fisher, Specialize, Kellys, Bergamont. Actually it's no so hard to get decent bikes in Ukraine (i mean if you work in Kiev, not in suburb, The reason is salary) Little hi middle class bike costs like 550$.
And about bike being handed over the fence: we were doing confluence hunting (http://www.confluence.org), and our GPS pointed straight, so we hadn't different choise :)
