Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hi, Iam an old geezer, from England who knows what it feels like when you just want to get off the damn thing, and have a lie down, Have ran, swam and cycled (mountain bikes) for some years now, and am just embarking on my very first road bike experience, wish me luck, and I look forward to communicating with you all later.

Welcome.
There are a number of folks around here who are a bit more mature than others. I am almost 64yo, and we have folks in their 70's. Many of us consider ourselves to be sort of "young." :D
So, since you are an "old geezer" I am assuming you must be close to 75-80yo or more??
I ride both mtn bike and road bike, but do not do technical mtn biking. I really like the road bike. Good luck on your endeavors.
Have fun on the forums.
When I said I am old geezer, it is of course all relative, I am actually 50, so realy quite young physically and positively immature mentally.
Thank you for your welcome, and I am sure that i will enjoy myself and educate myself! with my new found mentors!
