Both REI locations in my area only carry ONE size of the Sidi models they stock, 44:rolleyes:. Anyone know a local dealer with a good selection of Sidi shoes??

Performance carries them, if you have one local.

There's a Performance Bike shop on Brannan between 5th and 6th in SF. (REI is on about 8th and Brannan) And I think Sports Basement carries Sidi as well. Not sure if Mike's Bikes has them but they are on 8th and Howard. You can give them a call to find out.

Also try Lombardi's on Polk and Pacific.

You could try Summit in Burlingame too if you want to head the other direction.
I would suggest getting them online if possible , if you know the size is correct ... www.totalcycling.com has a nice selection of Sidi's , few colors not sold in the states. They ship their order kind of fast and there's no sales tax ;) ... I got my Sidi 5.5 HT's from them 1.5 years ago.

Thanks for the suggestions. The fever's left me and I've come to my senses, or maybe not depends on your point of view ;) . Got the PI Vagabonds for now. More in tune with my experience level and wallet. Woulda walked out of REI with the sidis yesterday if they had them.

Nothing wrong with PI Shoes. Beside as long as your feet are happy then nothing else matters :) .

I have a pair of Vagabonds that I still wear on my commutes.
They're up to Vagabond 4 now.
