I spent the summer working on an archive of Rolling Stone and Playboy magazines. Many advertisers in these magazines would use bicycles for props to show how cool you are if you use their product. In 90% of the cases, the bike was slung over some one's shoulder.

Conclusion - crossers are the coolest. My hat's off to you.

:) I actually hired a bunch of college students over the summer to assist with the project. You should have seen the faces on the boys when I told them they were going to be looking at Playboy all day.
