Who's your vote for the creepiest movie villain of all-time?
I'm not sure if this one takes the cake, but the first one that comes to mind is the Lou Cyphre character from "Angle Heart" (played by Robert De Niro).
Other thought:
Hannibal Lecter
Who do you think?

Yeah, I almost put that, but I think I forgot again before hitting submit.
Robert Mitchum in (the original) Cape Fear
Cape Fear is one of the few movies that I liked the remake better than the original. Robert Mitchum has done some great villain roles, but Cape Fear just didn't quite do it for me. I liked him MUCH better in "Into The Night".

Kevin Spacey in Seven.
edit: For scariest though, I'd have to go with the creature from Alien.

Walken in "Balls of Fury" or perhaps his role in "The Rundown"
"I feel like a little boy who's lost his first tooth, put it under his pillow, waiting for the tooth-fairy to come. Only two evil burglars have crept in my window, and snatched it, before she could get here... Wait a second, do you understand the CONCEPT of the tooth-fairy? Explain it to them... Wait. She takes the god damned thing, and gives you a quarter. They've got my tooth. I want it back."
-Hatcher (Walken, the Rundown)
If thats not creepy goodness I don't want to know what creepy is
I second Hannibal Lector.
Joe Spinelli as Frank Zito in Maniac (http://imdb.com/title/tt0081114/)
Now you tell me what I should do. I heard about it, I always do. I can't go out for a minute. It's impossible. Fancy girls, in their fancy dresses and lipstick, laughing and dancing. Should you stop them? I can't stop them. But you do, don't you? And they can't laugh and they can't dance anymore. You've got to stop, or they'll take you away from me. I will never, ever, let them take you away from me. You're mine now forever. And, I'm so happy
edit: For scariest though, I'd have to go with the creature from Alien.I think the Xenomorph counts as creepy in the first film, being that you rarely even saw the thing. It was scary once you did. :)
There's a doco just premiered in Ireland by an Irish production company, shot in Australia.
Its called 'Exile in Hell', about some convicts in the 1800's who escape from the Port Arthur Prison colony. There's a character called 'Greenhill' - an axe wielding murdering cannibal.
Look out for it. He's the creepiest SOB in the world and the actor in question is destined for great things.

That's my choice as well. Two specific scenes were particularly creepy / disturbing.
1) removing the top of Ray Liotta character's skull while he was drugged but concious.
2) feasting on the left-over brain on the plane and feeding a portion to the kid sitting next to him.
OK, I think I'll have nightmares again tonight.

That's Great! :roflmao:
Though my pick is for Hanibal Lecter for that lovely calm demeanour.

....so the other night after my daughter's band practice and filming session...Anthony Hopkins starts telling the girls that in the original Silence of the Lambs that the whole fava beans and a nice chianti scene was all improv on his part....he said that when they shut off the cameras...Jodie Foster says..."You are one sick bast**d"

hal 3000. spooky.
HAL 9000 was driven to it by circumstances not under his control.
(3000 was his quirky half-uncle.)
All-time most evil character: Roy Cohn (played by Al Pacino, Angels in America).
Most likely to challenge title: Dick Cheney.

Not sure if you would consider him a villain in the context of the movie, but the Joe Pesci character in Goodfellas was creepy.
