Hey everyone just pretty much finished up my conversion I have been working on figured I would post it since this bike was from a texas BF member.

rattle can. It is actually chalkboard spray paint which is pretty sweet because I can make whatever designs I want in chalk

Sweet ride, what are the details? I have a old 27" wheel road bike that I picked up for $2.50 that I am thinking of converting to fixed.

nice, I like the chalkboard angle too. Need to work on a cool name for it based on that.

Nice conversion, looks like you are pulling a monster gear though...

its 52x20 not to bad its only like 70ish gear inches. I am a fan of chalk bike myself simple yet original.

as for the details it was a motobecane nomade that was a 10 speed. I took off the shifters and rolled like that for a while, but then I went for some cheap new 700c wheels with 700x35 tires, new bars cut down a little and then switched front brake lever to the right side with new lever. pretty simple little build really

Very sleek looking. I like the green handlebar grips.

You need to make some sort of chalk holder on the frame so you always have it with you! :)

I definitely prefer the 'after' version. Nicely played.
