Mountain Biking - Pretty good trials vid

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
This kid actually looks promising.

Wow i just watched that. I don't really get the point of trials or whatever, but i wish i could do some of that stuff, seems like some of it would translate well to some trails. I need to hang out with people that do that **** on their bike. That last part at the end where he jumps between the two benches is insane.
Trials does seem somewhat odd at first to most people. If you think of a bike as a means to get from point A to point B, it makes plenty of sense. Its just that point A and point B often have some pretty odd stuff between them. Cars, logs, what have you. This translates to better all around riding skill. Definately one of my favorite aspects of riding.

Dr Gonzo. Watch some north shore vids. Trials is almost required knowledge as obstacles need to hopped or lurched often. It is fun but very difficult for some people (I have a hell of a time with it)

Yah i've seen those videos, a lot of that stuff looks like a lot of fun, i wish we had those wooden "ladder" trails. I can't wait to go back to school to ride.
