I dunno....if I met one, I'd just say "hi, how ya doing". That would be my first question.

Oh, and then ask "hey, you wanna race up this hill...." so I can see how fast they drop me.

I'd honestly like to know what their "defining moment" of cycling was. When they realized they were going to make it their vocation, and not just a diversion.

They get paid in burritos. This is still over par with the US dollar.

The last question I asked a pro cyclist was if he had fun at Greenville.

Man, sign me up for Chipotle for riding. I used to go to the first one in Denver when it opened up. I love those burritos.

Whenever I see a pro, I'm always asking, "Hey, how's it going." Then I get a feel for what kind of ride they're doing so I know how much legs will get ripped off.

I've ridden with Pat McCarty a few times this year, and I didn't see any burritos. <grumble> Why doesn't he bring burritios?!?

If I could ask a pro cyclist a question, I would ask a few:

When you are home, why are you always late to local races?
Why do you always call my house so late, don't you know I have to get up and go to work before I train?
Don't you have to get up early and take the kids to school?
Are you going to get me in the VIP at the Sinclair party at Interbike again this year?

I got to ride with GH a couple weeks after his TdF stage win. I asked him what gear he was climbing in up the Pla-d'Adet. Was that a good question?
