I have a RS indy sl. I know it's probably not a very good fork but I would like to rebuild it. It was hung upside down and oil leaked out and it set up for @ a year.

Does anyone know of a site with rebuild info?

Thanks

Contact RS directly for information concerning a rebuild. They will have the proper info. They might even have a tech section on their website that will help you out.

I've taken apart an Indy before just for the hell of it and all it is, is a pair of greased up elastomers. Not much involved in rebuilding it, just grease the elastomers and you're good to go

go to rock shox website. they have manuals you can download there. I did it for my duke. they were easy to follow for a rebuild.

Thanks for the info. I'll probably take it apart and if I can't figure it out then I'll go to the website.

I'd go the website FIRST, you can download the manual and there are things that are somewhat difficult to figure out just by looking at it. I'm pretty mechanically inclined, but due to limited visibility (looking down the inside of the stanction) I would never have seen a C-clip that made dissassembly necessary and impossible without the removal of the C-clip.

Download it, Print it, grab a cold one and plan to get greasy!

Since the fork is older than 2000 you will not find any info on their site regarding this fork. However just remove the adjuster knobs, grab the elastomer stack, clean elastomers, clean inside of fork, lube elastomers, reinstall, reinstall adjusters and ride. The Indy SL was a 97 production year Rock Shox no longer makes parts or info available for forks older than 2000.
