I have a chance to pick one up on a super good deal, but can't find any info on the frame material or anything else.

I can find a grand prix, but not a super grand prix..

HELP?!?!?!?

ok, well I answered my own question.. It's not one of the wondefull Ralieghs.. But at 10 dollars, it will be a good deal for me.

Sorry for the delayed answer, but the bike was purchased out from under me.... much to the pleasure of my wife.

I'm becoming addicted to the search for older bikes now.. I'm searching for an older road bike just to buy for regular riding.

Better be careful, pretty soon your gonna be doing searches
on e-bay for Pogliaghis, and getting e-mails about 1971 Masi
Gran Criteriums being sold.
after that you begin scrounging around dumpsters and
hitting every yard sale in the high dollar neighborhoods
hoping that someone doesn't need that old Derosa anymore. . .
well, thats what happened to me :D

You know finding that Nishiki to convert to a SS/Fixie did me in. I felt bad about converting it, as it was in nice shape.

Now, I'm looking for an older Panasonic bike (cause I like panansonic, my wife works there)..

A Raliegh road bike to ride as a beater...

A cheap bike to practise wheel truing and painting frames on..

A beach cruiser since my wife surf's now..

I've got it in a bad way now..
