If anyone if planning to ride to San Diego, Solana Beach and Oceanside on the weekend of September 15th and 16th should be aware that Amtrak is not running due to track maintainance. They will have buses avaliable, but I don't know if you really want to trust your bike on a bus.

Do not ride through Oceanside Harbor on the 15th or 16th. There is a large street fair that, coupled with the bridge construction project, will make traffic a nightmare.

Glad you posted that Grumpy, 'cause I was planning a ride. And that area's a nightmare anyway, without a street fair.

Where did you find this info posted? I'm planning an Anaheim-Solana Beach ride for the 22nd, and want to know if we are okay on that date.
